Most of these come up on a first visit. If yours isn't here, get in touch and we'll answer it properly.
A 60-minute massage session is 50 minutes hands-on, plus time to undress, redress, and talk with your therapist before and after.
That consultation is where we learn your concerns, customize the service, and send you off with at-home recommendations, so it's built into the session rather than taken out of it.
Yes, a card is required to hold the appointment. It's only charged for the service itself, or under the 24-hour cancellation policy.
Yes. There's free private lot parking right outside in South Shore Commons, and the center is wheelchair accessible.
No, we don't bill insurance. We do accept credit cards, and gift cards can be bought online any time.
Undress to a level you're comfortable with. For a full-body massage most guests undress apart from their underwear, and your therapist works around whatever you leave on.
If getting fully undressed would make you tense, don't. You won't relax, and you won't get the benefit. Your therapist steps out of the room while you get situated. Jewelry should come off.
Yes. You're properly draped at all times, and only the area being worked on is uncovered. Tell your therapist immediately if you're uncomfortable for any reason.
A light, relaxing massage shouldn't. Deep tissue work can, but if the pain is unbearable or you find yourself holding your breath through it, ask your therapist to ease off.
Pain makes you tighten up, which cancels out the point of the massage. Effective work goes with your body's response, not against it.
Skip it if you have a fever, a cold or flu, or a contagious skin infection.
Other conditions just mean your therapist adapts their technique or avoids an area entirely, like arthritis, osteoporosis, cuts, or burns. For some conditions — cancer, certain heart conditions, the first trimester of pregnancy — check with your doctor first. None of these automatically rule out a massage.
Plenty of people do, and your therapist takes it as a compliment. Bodies get noisy when they finally let go, too — none of it registers as anything other than a sign the session is working.
Whichever your skin needs that day, and that changes with the seasons, hormones, and genetics. Our esthetician evaluates your skin when you arrive and helps you choose. Like the massages, facials here are customized rather than fixed.
Not really. If you can, arrive without makeup, which speeds up the cleansing step and leaves more of your session for the treatment itself.
Yes. Just tell your esthetician about your sensitivities before the session starts.
Usually yes, and a facial may help with the hormonal changes showing up in your skin, but check with your healthcare provider first and let your esthetician know before your session.
Missed appointments, or those cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, may be charged up to the cost of the scheduled service. Please give us 24 hours where you can, so the time can go to someone else.
If you arrive 15 minutes or more after your start time, we may need to shorten your service or reschedule it, so the next guest isn't pushed back. Waxing appointments have a five-minute grace period.
Call us if you're stuck. We'll do what we can.
Yes. Anyone under 18 is a minor and needs a parent or guardian signature on their intake form. Children under 12 must have a parent present for the whole session.
We can't be responsible for minors left unattended, and some state regulations require a parent or guardian in the room regardless of age.
Tips are appreciated but never expected. If you've had exceptional service and want to show it, the usual range is 20–25%, and it can be added to a card or check.
Open seven days with extended weekday hours. Book online in about a minute, or call and we'll find you a time.
